The 2nd China Zhong An Peace Ultra-low-energy Building Technology Application and Development Symposium and International Passive House PHI Standard Recommendation Meeting Successfully Held in Beijing
With the full implementation of the national “13th Five-Year Plan” in all walks of life, the pace of China's economic transformation and upgrading has continued to advance, and people with lofty ideals from all walks of life are in full swing to supply-side reforms, vigorously promoting a low-carbon economy and sustainable green development. In the energy-saving building and environmental protection industry circle, the “passive house”, an internationally recognized concept of high efficiency, energy saving and low carbon environmental protection, has received increasing attention. On September 20th, “The 2nd China Zhong An Peace Ultra-low-energy Building Technology Application and Development Symposium and International Passive House PHI Standard Recommendation Meeting” was successfully held in Beijing, “Father of Passive House” Professor Wolfgang Feist, Leaders of relevant ministries, military leaders and Zhang Yang, chairman of China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd. Tian Shanming, Chief Engineer of Jianxue Architecture and Engineering Design, Tan Peisi, Vice-President of European-Chinese Association for Advancement of Environmental Development and David Michulec, Chief Architect of China Zhong An Peace Passive House and other enterprises and institutions attended the event. At the conference, the guests exchanged ideas on how passive ultra-low-energy buildings can accurately implement PHI standards in China's north and south and the far-reaching impact on China.
"Father of Passive House" presents to explain accurately implementing PHI in China's north and south according to local conditions
In 1996, the Passive House Institute (PHI), founded by Professor Wolfgang Feist, is committed to addressing the impact of climate change by improving building energy efficiency. It is now the world's top research institution in the field of passive house.
In April 2017, China Zhong An Peace and the founder of Passive House, Darmstadt International Passive House Institute (PHI) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement. The two sides decided to jointly promote the application and development of passive house technology in China, implementing technology promotion, professional training, project execution and measurement review. Facing the environmental differences between China's north and south climate and geography, the German Darmstadt Passive House Institute (PHI) team conducted a preliminary data survey to develop a scientifically detailed passive ultra-low-energy building landing standard. Pilot projects for passive ultra-low energy buildings have been completed in various climatic zones in China.
At the conference, Professor Wolfgang Feist told the guests through the excellent data and project introduction that nine major representative cities were selected in five climate zones in China, Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, Urumqi, Lhasa, Chengdu and other places, where a passive house is under construction, so we have gained more valuable experience in such a large place in China. I never believed that Passive house was built only for the rich. I hope that our passive house will enter thousands of households like a low-rent house, such a house can use passive houses, so that everyone can benefit.
As a senior expert in the domestic construction industry, Tian Shanming, the chief engineer of Jianxue Architecture and Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. has many years of work experience, and has been committed to passive ultra-low energy construction in recent years. The chief engineer Tian Shanming said that compared with the previous years that the domestic related theories and products in this field are relatively lacking, China has gradually established a series of institutional and supporting technical services after years of development. Passive ultra-low energy buildings have attracted more attention and demand from developers, research institutes and owners. If it can achieve productivity, it will lead to leap-forward development of China's passive house in the future.
China Zhong An Peace creates “full life cycle quality assurance management system and service” and the domestic “passive ultra-low energy building” landing project was recognized
In December 2016, the relevant national ministries and commissions issued the “Green Development Indicator System” and the “Ecological Civilization Construction Assessment Target System”. Relevant policies encouraged the development of passive ultra-low-energy buildings. “Green Buildings” received more and more attention and recognition from the industry. Since the passive ultra-low energy building is a systematic project with strict index system requirements, it is necessary to accurately grasp the relevant points and essences in the upstream and downstream sectors of the real estate industry to avoid unnecessary technical risks and economic losses.
To this end, Zhang Yang, chairman of China Zhong An Peace, said that the company has established a project implementation consortium with Jianxue Architecture and Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd., Shougang Group, Schoeberl and Poell Bauphysik Forschungs GmbH and other related professional organizations to provide“Full lifecycle quality assurance management system and service” integrated with preliminary research and precise planning and design for cooperation projects, construction supporting management, acceptance index auditing, and post-operation monitoring and maintenance, to ensure the smooth landing of passive ultra-low-energy buildings, while safeguarding the rights and interests of investors and users and practicing ecological civilization construction and sustainable development.
In June 2015, China Zhong An Peace Consortium completed the only passive ultra-low energy building in China that is real-time monitoring of building energy consumption—office and apartment building project of Hebei Xinhua Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. At the spot, Dawid Mikulec, the chief designer of China Zhong An Peace Passive Ultra Low Energy Building, announced to the guests and the media the monitoring data of the airtightness and indoor temperature of the Xinhua curtain wall office building for two years.
In September 2016, the assembled passive ultra-low-energy wood structure model house jointly built by China Zhong An Peace Consortium and Hebei Kansen Passive House Co., Ltd. was completed in Zhuozhou, Hebei. Under the cooperation of the top international teams, this wooden structure-equipped passive house has an average hourly air exchange rate of only 0.2 under the condition of indoor and outdoor positive and negative pressure difference of 50Pa, which is far superior to the international standard of 0.6/h. passed the airtightness test, the energy consumption per unit square meter of heating and cooling energy is up to 90% compared with the traditional building, and the heating demand is 15KWh/m2a. It has reached the requirements of the Passive House Institute (PHI) for passive houses. It became the first PHI-certified “assembly-type passive ultra-low-energy wood structure building” in China. At the spot, Professor Wolfgang Feist personally issued the PHI International Certification for the chairman of Hebei Kansen Passive House Co., Ltd.
On the same day, China Zhong An Peace's series of landing projects in the field of passive ultra-low energy buildings were highly recognized by Professor Wolfgang Feist and the guests present. At the spot, Professor Wolfgang Feist also signed a letter of intent for the in-depth cooperation between the Passive House Institute (PHI) and China ZhongAn Peace in the follow-up project with Chairman Zhang Yang. At the same time, Chairman Zhang Yang also announced that in order to promote the popularization of passive ultra-low energy buildings in China and the cultivation of applied talents, the second phase of the China Zhong An Peace International Passive Architects Training Course will be held in Beijing in November this year.
