China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd. and Austria Schoeberl and Poell Bauphysik Forschungs GmbH signed a passive house cooperation agreement witnessed by the Austrian President and Chancellor.
Sustainable development has always been the focus of cooperation between Chinese and Austrian government and companies. A few days ago, during the visit of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, they witnessed China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhong An Peace”), Austria’s top passive house implementation agency-Austria Schoeberl and Poell Bauphysik Forschungs GmbH (hereinafter referred to as " Schoeberl ") and the European-Chinese Association for Advancement of Environmental Development signed a cooperation agreement.
Passive house is today's most advanced building energy-saving technology. Austria is one of the few countries that implement the highest international standards for passive house. The Austrian passive house industry has the most advanced technology level in the world, and Schoeberl is a representative enterprise in this field. Zhong An Peace took the lead in launching the passive house life cycle quality management system in China, which was highly recognized by the Austrian side. The similar concepts and complementary resources are the important basis for this cooperation.
Passive house are in the ascendant in China and have broad prospects. Different industrial support policies have been introduced from the central government to the local governments. However, in view of the special requirements of design and construction integration for passive house, the whole process quality management guarantee is required to achieve the planning and design standards. So Zhong An Peace launched a passive house life cycle quality management system, and led the industry elite team to form the passive house international consortium. The members of the consortium have successfully completed two passive construction cases in accordance with the highest international standards (annual energy consumption ≤15 kWh/m2), which is more than 90% energy saving than traditional buildings.
The Austria government attaches great importance to cooperation with China in passive house industry. Therefore, the signing activity of China-Austria Passive Construction Industry Cooperation was arranged during the President and Chancellor’s visiting in China. In this signing ceremony, there are other economic and trade cooperation projects in the fields of low-carbon environmental protection, manufacturing technology, logistics and transportation in China and Austria.
Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, Minister of Infrastructure and Minister of Digital and Economic affairs also attend the signing ceremony. Mr. Zhang Yang, Chairman of Zhong An Peace, led a delegation to participate in the signing ceremony.
