“China Zhong An Peace Zhanghe River Ecological Landscape Treatment Project” Work Progressing Meeting was Held in Handan River Bureau

On October 29, the work progressing meeting of China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd.“Zhanghe River (old Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge to South-to-North Water Diversion crossing Zhanghe River section) Ecological Landscape Treatment Project” (hereinafter referred to as “Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project”) was held in Handan River Bureau. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Qibin, Director of the Water Administration Department of the Zhangweinan Canal Administration. Ma Guobin, Section Chief of Water Administration Department of Zhangweinan Canal Administration, Zhang Anhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Handan River Bureau, Song Shanxiang, Section Chief of Water Administration Section of Handan River Bureau, Guo Xianguo, deputy director of the Zhanghe Forest Farm, Luo Wenjie, the head of Anfeng Township, Li Yuying, Boad Director and Vice President of China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd., and Cheng Wenbin, Vice President of China Zhong An Peace Ecological Environment Management Co., Ltd., General Manager of Anyang Hezhengjingan Culture Development Co., Ltd. and China Zhong An Peace Ecological Environment Management Handan Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

Director Zhang Qibin fully affirmed the work done by China Zhong An Peace in the early stage in the meeting, and approved proceeding the land grading work of Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project on behalf of Zhangweinan Canal Administration to make good preparation for the following work of the project. Leaders from Handan River Bureau, Handan Zhanghe Forest Farm, Anfeng Township respectively expressed that they would fully support this project.

At the meeting, Vice President Li Yuying expressed his gratitude for the long-term support and assistance of Zhangweinan Canal Administration, Handan River Bureau, Handan Zhanghe Forest Farm and Anfeng Township. She pointed out that the “Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project” is related to the overall situation of national water conservancy project construction, which is also related to the safety construction of the Zhanghe River and the welfare of the people on both sides of river. As a state-owned holding company, China Zhong An Peace Holding Co., Ltd. will strictly abide by national laws and regulations, cooperate with the related departments, build the “Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project” in high standards and strict requirements to make the it a demonstration project to enhance the overall safety of the Zhanghe River, promote local economic development, and benefit local people's livelihood.

The Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project is located from the old Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge to the west river center island of crossing Zhanghe River Project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, which is located in the lower stream of Yuecheng Reservoir and the project node crossing Zhanghe River in South-to-North Water Diversion Project westward to the north of Gaoxue Village., 7km from the Yuecheng Reservoir, 13km from the Anyang urban area and 5km from the 107 National Highway. It is specifically developed and constructed by the subsidiary of China Zhong An Peace-Anyang Hezhengjingan Culture Development Co., Ltd. and China Zhong An Peace Ecological Environment Management Handan Co., Ltd. covering an area of about 5,000 mu and an investment of 600 million yuan. The convening of the project progressing meeting marked the official entry of the Zhanghe River Ecological Treatment Project into the implementation phase.
